Here are the ways and steps to follow to remove your acrylic nails as effectively as possible, without the use of acetone:

Method 1: Using Dental Floss

This is an easy method that you can do when at home and have no time (or the budget) to go to a salon. While you can do this alone, it's best to have someone help you out. Also, it may be a bit painful if your acrylic nails are still firm or short.

What You Will Need:

• Dental Floss: Any type of dental floss will do. Make sure you have the sufficient amount of dental floss to remove all the acrylic nails.
• Cuticle Stick
• Nail Buffer
• Cuticle Cream and Moisturizer
• You will need a partner or some help for this method

How To Proceed:

1. Remove Bottom Edge of Acrylic Nail

Use a cuticle stick to slowly remove the bottom edge of your acrylic nail

How To Proceed:

1. Remove Bottom Edge of Acrylic Nail

Similar to using dental floss, use a cuticle stick to remove the bottom edges of the acrylic nail.

2. Slide Card Under the Acrylic Nail

Using the corner of the laminated card, pry off the edge and slide it side to side gently. Make sure to do it slowly to avoid ripping off your natural nails underneath.

3. Slide Card Back and Forth

Keep sliding until the acrylic nail is removed. Repeat it for all other acrylic nails.

4. Clean Natural Nails

Clean and polish your natural nails using a nail buffer.

2. Apply Petroleum Jelly

Add petroleum jelly to your fingers before dipping your fingers to the bowl. After that, put your fingers in the bowl and leave it on for twenty minutes.

3. Scrape Acrylic Material

Once you see that the acrylic material is starting to soften and dissolve, use the cuticle stick and scrape off the acrylic material out of your nails. Do this slowly so as not to remove or damage your natural nails.

If there is still some acrylic materials left on your nails, dip them in the bowl again and scrape it off with the cuticle stick again.
